Virtual Hosting allows a company or individual to lease part of a server to make available their website to the world instead of setting up a separate web, email and database servers that require much more resources.
What are FrontPage extensions? Does DynaTech Solutions support these extensions?
FrontPage extensions help Microsoft FrontPage users to manage their websites. Some of our hosting packages support FrontPage extensions. For details, check our hosting packages.
What is SSL? Do you offer SSL encryption for transferring credit card information?
SSL is an industry-standard technology to encrypt the data transferred between computers over the Internet. The data encryption ensures security of sensitive data such as credit card and other personal information.
We offer two options to our clients who may be interested in using SSL technology for secure communication with their customers -- our clients may buy their own SSL certificate and we'll be glad to install it for their use, or they can simply share our SSL certificate.
Some of our hosting packages offer free use of shared SSL certificate. If the package you are subscribing does not include use of free SSL certificate, there could be a minor charge for adding this to your hosting package.

I make frequent changes to the Website. How would it affect my hosting plan?
Each web hosting package comes with at least one FTP account. FTP account provides you complete access to your website 24 hours a day; 7 days a week and you can make changes to your website as frequently as you want.
How long does it take to set up a web hosting account?
Usually new accounts are setup within few minutes of signing in. At the most it could take a few hours, but you should rest assured that all new accounts are setup the same day.
What is a cgi-bin and how do I get one?
CGI means Common Gateway Interface which facilitates server-side scripts to provide dynamic content for a website or to process form input data and to send emails from the website. The cgi-bin is the folder or directory where the CGI scripts are stored. Please check the hosting packages to find that which packages allow you to have your own cgi-bin.
How can I manage my database from my computer at home / office?
We provide access to our users to connect to the database servers from their homes or offices. However to ensure security of your data, we restrict this access to the systems with specific IP addresses. If you provide us the IP address of the system that you want to use, you will get complete access to your database.
How secure is your email?
Our email server transfers messages to other email servers in a secure mode using TLS technology provided the other email server is capable of using this secure mode. Besides, our email server allows the users to send and receive emails using TLS and SSL encryption technologies.
Does DynaTech Solutions offer any help in retrieving form data?
DynaTech Solutions offer many free components to its clients for retrieving form data, sending emails from the website and uploading files to the server. Use of these components depends on the hosting package that you would subscribe.
What is SSI? Does DynaTech Solutions offer SSI?
SSI is acronym of Server Side Includes; a technology that allows the use of a file in multiple web pages e.g. you may create a menu, save it in a separate file and then use this file in all your web pages. We offer SSI to all our web hosting packages. However, it works only for the files with the extensions .shtml, .asp and .aspx.
Cancellation: What if I am not happy with your service?
We offer 30 day money back guarantee to all our customers. You can cancel any of our hosting packages within 30 days of signing in with full refund. No questions asked.
To cancel the service, go to support.dynatechsolutions.com and select "Billing" category. In the details box write the message for the cancellation of the hosting service and when would you like it to be cancelled.
If a cancellation date is not provided, the web hosting will be cancelled on the last day of the period which is paid for by the client e.g. if you have already paid for 3 months and at the end of the second month you cancel the service, we'll presume that the cancellation is effective at the end of the three months if you did not advise us otherwise.
Reasons for the cancellation are not required, but if you are canceling because of any of our short comings, please do mention them so that we could improve our service.
