Configuring Outlook Express to check your email
Outlook Express is part of the Windows operating systems and is widely used for email management. You can configure it to check your emails by following these steps:
- Click on Start -> Programs -> Outlook Express. It will open the application.
- Click on Tools -> Accounts to initiate a dialogue box for your email configuration.
- Click on 'Add' button and then 'Mail...'
- Enter your name in the field and click 'Next'.
- Enter your email address and click 'Next'.
- Enter incoming and outgoing email servers that we have provided you after setting up your website and then click 'Next'.
- Enter username and password and then click 'Next'
- Click 'Finish'. Congratulations! You have configured your email account. Close the dialogue box.
- To check your email, click Tools -> Send and Receive.
